OUR SERVICES
AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGIES AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT
Since the production of rotary molds requires cutting-edge technologies, our company paid a lot of attention to the development of the available machinery and employees, as well as to the implementation of the latest technologies in our production. In addition to traditional sheet metal processing processes (sheet rolling, sheet pressing, profile rolling, edge bending), which are essential for the production of rotational molding tools, we also use the following technologies in our production:
Designing and CAD-CAM support
Design engineers play a key role in the production of rotational molding tools, so we employ four experienced design engineers in order to be able to meet all the needs of our customers at the right time. Design engineers are not only responsible for the design, but also play the role of project manager for each project, and they also accompany the entire project through to delivery. Our engineers do not only design rotational molding tools, but also product designing, comparative finite element method analysis, rendering and creating photo realistic images if required.
CAD-CAM technologies have an important role in our production. We believe that in the 21st century these technologies are already essential in order to produce perfect quality for our partners, which is why we pay extra attention to the continuous training of our employees in this area.
Laser welding
Laser welding is a modern production process that enables precise and efficient welding. In this technology, highly concentrated laser light is used as a heat source. Laser light delivers a controlled amount of energy to a specific location, creating a strong bond between different materials.
Advantages of laser welding include:
-
High-quality welds with minimal heat input: The laser light is concentrated in a small area, reducing thermal distortion and preserving the integrity of the material. This results in improved weld quality, minimal post-processing requirements and reduced production time.
-
High heat source control: Thanks to the concentrated light, the heat input can be precisely adjusted based on the depth and width of the weld. This allows deep welds and welding of thin plates without causing damage to the material.
-
Non-contact: Laser welding does not require direct contact with the material, reducing the risk of contamination. This is especially important for medical devices and food industry welding.
CNC machining
Our company has the following cutting machines:
-
3-axis cnc milling machines
-
cnc lathe
-
traditional lathe
-
cnc engraver
The mentioned machines enable us to provide our partners with the highest possible quality for the most critical parts of rotational molding tools (corners, lifting eyes, inserts). In addition, we can also undertake the processing of complete aluminum tools for our partners, if they require it.
Waterjet cutting
Water jet cutting is an environmentally friendly, cold machining technology that has many advantages. In this process, approx. They deliver a jet of water mixed with an abrasive material at a pressure of 6,000 bar. This enables high-precision cutting that can be done with an accuracy of + - 0.2 mm on various materials.
Advantages of water jet cutting compared to traditional thermal cutting:
-
Cold cutting: Water jet cutting takes place without heat input, so the heat input of the material is minimal. This is especially important for materials that are sensitive to heat.
-
Universal applicability: Practically all known materials can be cut with this technique. Whether it is metals, plastics, glass or even granite, waterjet cutting offers a versatile solution.
-
Precise contours: Water jet cutting is excellent for cutting complex and precise contours. The process results in extremely smooth edges with tight tolerances and no material damage3.
-
Environmentally friendly technology: Water jet cutting does not create toxic substances and there is no generation of gas or toxic fumes. In addition, there is no need for coolants and lubricants.
-
Minimal material loss: Few chips are produced during water jet cutting, so material loss is minimal.
Eckold Kraftformer
-
Heat-Free Cold Forming: The Kraftformer allows shaping of sheet metal, tubes, and profiles without applying heat, which is especially important for sensitive materials.
-
High Precision: The machine ensures precise forming, resulting in accurate and reliable finished parts.
-
Quiet Operation: ECKOLD Kraftformers work silently, making them environmentally friendly and pleasant for operators.
-
Versatile Applications: With a single machine, you can bend profiles, shape sheets, create new parts, and repair machined workpieces.
-
Quick Tool Changes: ECKOLD tools are easily interchangeable, allowing rapid configuration for specific tasks.
